I started my full stack software engineering journey with one simple goal:
Make an app that I would actually use.
When I began training with one of my favorite influencer's lifting programs, I quickly realized it was a world class program lacking only one thing — a world class companion app. I knew what my first major project would be. After weeks of development and testing, I created a more efficient system for viewing the exercises and logging my lifts. It saved me a lot of time and headaches at the gym. Below are some screenshots of my prototype.

Matt has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Science, and over 5 years industry experience providing technology solutions. Throughout his consulting career, he's worked with clients ranging from startups and small businesses to international Fortune 500 companies. Matt is also a part-time coach at OrangeTheory Fitness where he fuels his passion for strength training instruction and local fitness outreach. Here at Big Gain, he leverages a unique blend of technical knowledge and hands-on fitness industry experience to develop innovative software solutions for fitness influencers and wellness businesses.
